Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Counter Staff to join our CP Fresh retail team. The candidate will be responsible for attending to customers, handling product enquiries, processing sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring hygiene and cleanliness at the counter. The role requires good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to support daily store operations while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their requirements.

• Assist customers with the selection of fresh chicken and other meat products.

• Explain product details, pricing, weight, offers, and available cuts.

• Handle customer orders, billing, cash, and digital payment transactions.

• Ensure proper weighing, packing, labelling, and handover of products.

• Maintain adequate stock and ensure proper product display.

• Follow FIFO practices and ensure proper storage and handling of products.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at the counter.

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and product returns professionally.

• Promote offers, combo packs, and other products to increase sales.

• Support daily stock counting and inventory management.

• Coordinate with the Store Manager for smooth store operations.

• Work towards achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum SSLC / PUC.

• Experience: 0–2 years in retail sales, counter sales, or customer service. Freshers can also apply.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, and digital payments.

• Ability to handle weighing, packing, and product display activities.

• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices will be an added advantage.

• Kannada communication is preferred; basic English is an advantage.

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
