The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for driving sales excellence, maintaining impeccable standards, and fostering a high-performance team culture. You will act as the "Manager on Duty" in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring that operational goals are met while delivering a world-class customer experience.
​Key Responsibilities
Coaching: Provide real-time feedback to sales associates to improve performance and product knowledge.
​Scheduling: Assist in managing staff rosters to ensure optimal floor coverage during peak hours.
​Onboarding: Help train new hires on POS systems, brand history, and loss prevention protocols.
​2. Operational Excellence
​Inventory Management: Oversee stock intake, processing, and markdowns. Ensure the stockroom is organized and audit-ready.
​Loss Prevention: Implement security measures to minimize "shrink" (theft or inventory errors).
​Opening/Closing: Responsible for secure key-holding, cash handling, and daily banking deposits.
​3. Sales & Customer Experience
​KPI Tracking: Monitor daily targets such as Conversion Rate, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Units Per Transaction (UPT).
​Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for customer complaints, turning negative experiences into loyal outcomes.
​4. Visual Merchandising
​Ensure the sales floor reflects the brand’s visual guidelines.
​Execute floor sets and window displays according to seasonal directives.
​Maintain "Gold Standard" cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
