Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for the efficient management of all store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, inventory control, and documentation of materials, PPE, spare parts, chemicals, stationery, uniforms, housekeeping items, and other consumables. The role ensures uninterrupted availability of materials while maintaining stock accuracy, safety, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day store operations.
Receive, inspect, and verify materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery challans.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and maintain inward/outward registers.
Issue materials only against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel/manual registers.
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions on time.
Conduct daily, monthly, and annual physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of all materials using FIFO/FEFO where applicable.
Maintain inventory of:
PPE (Safety Shoes, Helmets, Gloves, Masks, Goggles, Aprons)
Uniforms
Biomedical waste collection consumables
Chemicals and disinfectants
Vehicle spare parts
Office stationery and housekeeping materials
Electrical, plumbing, and maintenance items
Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, HR, Maintenance, and Operations departments.
Maintain records of vendor deliveries, material consumption, and stock reports.
Ensure proper housekeeping, security, and safety within the store.
Assist during internal, statutory, ISO, customer, and EHS audits.
Prevent material loss, damage, pilferage, and expiry through effective inventory control.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
