Washing Machine Service Technician
Job Summary
Responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining washing machines and other home appliances. Ensure timely service, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot washing machine issues.
Repair and replace faulty components such as motors, pumps, belts, valves, and control boards.
Install and test new washing machines.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
Explain repairs and maintenance tips to customers.
Maintain service records and complete job reports.
Follow company safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
Knowledge of front-load, top-load, and semi-automatic washing machines.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Time management and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in appliance repair (preferred).
Valid driver's license (if field service is required).
Preferred Experience
Experience servicing brands such as LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, IFB, Bosch, Haier, or similar.
Familiarity with warranty and non-warranty service processes.
