Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR professional to manage and support all HR activities in our food processing factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training & development, and ensuring smooth HR operations in alignment with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring needs.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory staff and support roles and co ordinating with contractors.
Conduct interviews and facilitate onboarding and induction programs.
2. Attendance & Payroll Support
Monitor and manage daily attendance using biometric systems and pagar book.
Prepare and verify attendance data for payroll processing.
Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely salary disbursal.
3. Employee Relations
Address employee grievances and escalate where needed.
Manage their leaves and address the issues of the same.
Foster a healthy and productive work environment.
Organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in audits and inspections by government authorities.
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
Track employee performance and maintain development plans.
6. Health, Safety, and Hygiene
Collaborate with safety teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Support HR initiatives related to factory hygiene and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in HR; prior experience in manufacturing/FMCG/food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of HR systems, labor laws, payroll, and compliance.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, labor-intensive factory environment.
