Job Summary

The Plant Facility Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day activities on the shopfloor, ensuring workplace safety coordination, effective workforce management, and maintaining a disciplined and productive work environment. The role focuses on employee relations, manpower coordination, safety adherence, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shopfloor Operations

• Act as the primary HR contact for workers and supervisors on the shopfloor.

• Monitor manpower deployment and shift planning.

• Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Handle worker grievances and resolve issues promptly.

2. Workforce Management

• Track daily attendance and monitor absenteeism trends.

• Support shift coordination and manpower allocation.

• Maintain accurate employee records and shopfloor data.

3. Safety & Workplace Compliance

• Coordinate with EHS team to ensure safety practices on the shopfloor.

• Conduct safety briefings and promote safe work habits.

• Ensure proper usage of PPE by workers.

• Report and document workplace incidents and corrective actions.

4. Contract Labour Coordination

• Monitor contractor workforce deployment on the shopfloor.

• Ensure contractors follow company safety rules and workplace discipline.

• Coordinate with contractors for workforce requirements.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Support employee engagement activities and welfare programs.

• Facilitate training sessions on safety, discipline, and workplace behavior.

• Promote a positive work culture and employee morale.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to manage shopfloor workforce effectively.

• Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.

• Safety awareness and commitment to workplace discipline.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree (B.Com / B.sc) from recognized university.

Preferred Experience

• 4 - 6 years experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

• Experience handling shopfloor workforce and contract labor.

• Exposure to workplace safety practices.
