Payroll Executive

Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Thane
Department: Payroll
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Working Days: 6 days a week (Second Saturday of each month will be a holiday)
Reports To: Payroll Manager / HR Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll process for our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate salary disbursement, statutory compliance, and seamless payroll operations using Spine Software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing including salary calculation, deductions, and disbursements.

• Ensure timely and accurate PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) contributions and compliance.

• Generate and file monthly/quarterly/annual challans and statutory returns.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records including attendance, leave, and salary structure.

• Operate and manage payroll using Spine Software.

• Process full and final settlements, bonuses, and reimbursements.

• Address employee queries related to payroll, salary slips, tax deductions, and other issues.

• Stay updated with changes in labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with the accounts and HR team to ensure accuracy in payroll data.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of PF, ESIC, payroll laws, and statutory deductions.

• Hands-on experience with Spine HRMS/payroll software.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / HR / Finance or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software (especially Spine).
