Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly/bi-weekly/4-weekly and monthly payroll for UK employees.
Enter and maintain employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes.
Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other payroll inputs
Support with calculating Statutory payments (Sick/Maternity/Paternity etc).
Support the calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NI, pension contributions).
Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and company policies.
Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
Assist with year-end payroll activities such as P60s and P11Ds.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Basic understanding of UK payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with payroll software (training provided).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Eagerness to learn and develop within payroll operations.
