Policy & Procedure Development
: Create, update, and implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with central/state labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Minimum Wages).
Statutory Compliance: Oversee timely filing, renewals, and maintenance of statutory registers, returns, licenses with government bodies (Labour Dept, PF/ESI authorities).
Monitoring & Auditing: Conduct internal compliance audits, liaise with inspectors, and ensure closure of observations.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate HR compliance risks and maintain a risk register, says Techfunnel.
Employee Relations: Advise on fair treatment, prevent discrimination, and ensure lawful resolution of grievances and disciplinary actions, according to Crazehq.
Training & Communication: Educate managers and employees on laws, policies, and compliance requirements.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, secure employee records as per legal standards.
