Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Executive to join our team at Br Mep Engineers Private Limited to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for the organization. The tasks include identifying potential candidates, interviewing, and evaluating them. You will be responsible for updating job ads and conducting background checks of candidates. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹25000 and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

EPFO & ESI Compliances

1. Ensure timely and accurate submission of EPFO and ESI returns.

2. Maintain accurate records of employee contributions, deductions, and payments.

3. Comply with EPFO and ESI regulations, laws, and amendments.

4. Handle EPFO and ESI inspections, audits, and inquiries.

5. Liaise with EPFO and ESI authorities, and respond to queries.

Salary Sheet Preparation

1. Prepare and process employee salary sheets, including basic pay, allowances, deductions, and benefits.

2. Ensure accurate calculation of salary, taxes, and statutory deductions.

3. Maintain confidentiality of employee salary information.

4. Provide salary-related information to employees, management, and statutory authorities.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.

2. Stay updated on changes in EPFO, ESI, and labor laws.

3. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

4. Provide training and guidance to colleagues on EPFO, ESI, and salary-related matters.

  • Create and update job descriptions.

  • Source and engage candidates via online platforms.

  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate tests.

  • Advertise openings on job portals and social media.

  • Shortlist candidates and collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 6+ years of experience. Knowledge of resume databases and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Additional skills like sourcing techniques and sound judgment are a must. Candidates must be open to working 6 days working
