Job Summary:
An IT Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring skilled IT professionals such as software developers, system administrators, data analysts, and other tech specialists. The role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and job requirements
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills and cultural fit
Coordinate and schedule interviews with technical teams
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT candidates
Write and post compelling job descriptions for IT roles
Negotiate offers, salary packages, and employment terms
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and talent market conditions
Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases
