The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding manpower requirements to sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding suitable candidates. The role ensures that the company attracts and hires qualified employees in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Understand job requirements and work closely with department heads or clients to define role specifications.
Source candidates using job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, and internal databases.
Screen resumes, conduct telephonic or video interviews, and shortlist candidates.
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain and update the candidate database and recruitment reports.
Negotiate salary and prepare offer letters for selected candidates.
Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating joining formalities.
Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates.
Support other HR functions such as employee engagement, attendance, and documentation when required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sourcing and screening abilities.
Knowledge of recruitment tools and portals.
Time management and multitasking skills.
Basic understanding of HR policies and processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA in HR preferred (optional).
0–3 years for Junior HR Recruiter.
3–5 years for Senior HR Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist.
