HR Recruiter

An HR recruiter is responsible for the entire recruitment process, including identifying talent needs, writing job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring and onboarding of new employees. They act as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates, aiming to attract and hire the best talent to meet the organization's goals. 

Key responsibilities

• Talent sourcing:

  Use various channels like online job boards, social media, and professional networks to find qualified candidates. 

• Job description creation:

  Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and write accurate and compelling job descriptions. 

• Candidate screening:

  Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the position requirements. 

• Interviewing:

  Conduct initial interviews (including phone screenings and group interviews) to assess candidates. 

• Hiring coordination:

  Schedule interviews with hiring managers and coordinate the selection process. 

• Offer and onboarding:

  Negotiate job offers, prepare new hire paperwork, and assist with the onboarding process. 

• Relationship management:

  Maintain a database of candidates and build a network of potential applicants. 

• Employer branding:

  Represent the company and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring cycle. 

Necessary skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software

• Knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices

• Experience with different types of interviews

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with hiring managers
