The Training & Placement Officer is responsible for preparing students for employment and facilitating campus placements by building strong relationships with industry partners, organizing training programs, and managing the end-to-end placement process.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporates, recruiters, and industry partners for campus placements and internships.
• Plan and execute placement drives, job fairs, pre-placement talks, and recruitment activities.
• Identify training needs of students and coordinate skill-development programs such as aptitude, soft skills, technical, and interview readiness training.
• Maintain student placement records, employer databases, and placement reports.
• Guide and counsel students on career paths, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Coordinate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
• Ensure timely communication between students, recruiters, and college management.
