About the Role
iPlanet BPO is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead the complete HR function of the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit formalities, while also overseeing payroll, compliance, employee engagement, HR operations, and administrative functions.
This role requires a strategic leader who can build strong HR processes, drive employee performance, ensure statutory compliance, and support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment for all departments.
Develop hiring strategies to attract quality talent.
Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Build relationships with recruitment agencies and job portals.
Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining hiring quality.
HR Operations
Manage the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
Draft and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, PIPs, termination letters, experience letters, and Full & Final (FNF) settlements.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
Payroll & Compensation
Oversee monthly payroll processing with complete accuracy.
Ensure timely salary disbursement.
Manage attendance, leave records, incentives, overtime, and deductions.
Coordinate Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
Handle salary structuring, CTC planning, and employee benefits.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws.
Manage PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate audits and maintain statutory records.
Liaise with consultants and government authorities when required.
Employee Relations
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Foster a positive work culture and maintain employee satisfaction.
Ensure effective communication between employees and management.
Performance Management
Design and monitor KPI and KRA frameworks.
Manage probation reviews, performance appraisals, PIPs, and employee development plans.
Work closely with department heads to improve workforce productivity.
Training & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Organize induction programs and ongoing learning initiatives.
Drive leadership development and employee skill enhancement programs.
HR Strategy
Develop HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Build succession planning and talent development frameworks.
Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to management.
Administration
Supervise HR and administrative operations.
Coordinate employee assets, documentation, and office administration.
Ensure smooth day-to-day HR functioning across departments.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes.
Extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Expertise in payroll processing and HRMS systems.
Excellent understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, HR software, and payroll systems.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
3–7+ years of HR experience, preferably in the BPO or Call Center industry.
Experience managing large teams and high-volume hiring.
Hands-on experience in payroll, compliance, and HR operations.
