We need someone who can actually run HR operations, not just maintain files. This role is hands-on—handling hiring, compliance, employee discipline, and basic HR systems for a growing herbal manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
Manage end-to-end recruitment (job posting, screening, interviews)
Hire workers for:
Production (factory staff)
Sales & marketing
E-commerce team (Amazon, Flipkart)
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
👉 Expectation: Reduce hiring delays and improve quality of candidates
2. Employee Management
Maintain attendance, leave records, and employee files
Handle onboarding & exit formalities
Address employee issues and maintain discipline in factory
👉 You need someone who can handle workers firmly but fairly
3. HR Compliance (Very Important)
Ensure compliance with:
PF / ESIC
Labour laws
Factory-related regulations
Maintain statutory registers and documentation
👉 If they don’t understand compliance, don’t hire. This is non-negotiable.
4. Payroll Support
Coordinate payroll data (attendance, leaves, overtime)
Work with accounts team for salary processing
5. HR Process Setup
Create and improve:
HR policies
SOPs
Employee records system
Implement basic HR structure (important for scaling)
6. Performance & Culture
Track employee performance
Support basic appraisal system
Maintain professional work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (MBA HR preferred)
1–4 years of HR experience (manufacturing preferred)
Knowledge of labour laws, PF, ESIC
Good communication (Hindi + Gujarati + basic English)
Strong handling ability with workers and staff
Preferred (Bonus)
Experience in pharma / ayurvedic / FMCG manufacturing
Experience hiring for Amazon / D2C roles
Familiar with HR software or Excel-based tracking
