Key responsibilities
Recruitment & hiring
Assist in drafting job descriptions and posting openings on job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.).
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on role requirements.
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct telephonic pre-screening calls to assess basic eligibility.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) at every stage.
Issue offer letters and collect signed copies and KYC documents from selected candidates.
Training & onboarding
Coordinate and conduct induction sessions for new joiners.
Send training material, trackers, and tools to candidates in the correct stage-wise order.
Conduct or assist in product understanding tests and practical readiness checks for telesales hires.
Record candidate doubts, weak areas, and training outcomes; update training files accordingly.
Ensure new hires complete all mandatory training before starting live work.
Coordinate with IT/Admin to ensure system access and tools are set up before joining.
Payroll & compliance
Assist in collecting and verifying attendance, leave records, and timesheet data for payroll processing.
Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
Maintain employee records and ensure all compliance documents are properly filed.
Support statutory compliance activities (PF, ESIC, gratuity) under HR Manager guidance.
Assist in background verification coordination for new hires.
General HR operations
Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, and internal HR trackers.
Handle employee queries related to attendance, leaves, and HR policies.
Draft HR communications, internal notices, and policy documents as required.
Assist in performance review coordination and documentation.
Support any ad-hoc HR projects assigned by the HR Manager.
