Job Description: Senior HR Recruiter

Position: Senior HR Recruiter
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: HR Manager / Head – HR

Job Summary

The Senior HR Recruiter is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for junior, mid-level, and senior positions. The role focuses on timely hiring, quality talent acquisition, coordination with hiring managers, and improving recruitment processes while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding

  • Understand manpower requirements and job specifications from department heads

  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, consultants, and internal databases

  • Conduct HR interviews and coordinate technical/management interview rounds

  • Manage bulk hiring and lateral hiring as per business needs

  • Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and manage joining formalities

  • Negotiate salary, CTC, and explain company policies to candidates

  • Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS reports, and hiring data

  • Coordinate background verification and documentation process

  • Mentor and guide junior recruiters (if applicable)

  • Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies

  • Improve employer branding and candidate engagement

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Good understanding of recruitment strategies and hiring metrics

  • Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously

  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor hiring, and onboarding processes

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and job portals

Qualifications

  • Graduate / MBA in HR or related field

  • 3–6 years of experience in recruitment (manufacturing / corporate preferred)
