Role Definition
HR Executive is responsible for supporting the
organization’s human resources functions, including
recruitment, employee onboarding, HR documentation,
payroll coordination, and maintaining employee relations.
They act as the first point of contact for employee queries,
ensure compliance with company policies, and assist in
implementing HR initiatives that contribute to a positive work
environment.
Responsibilities

● Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process, from
sourcing to onboarding
● Maintain and update employee records, HRMS, and
documentation
● Assist in payroll processing by collecting attendance
and leave data
● Handle employee queries related to HR policies and
procedures
● Support employee engagement activities and internal
communication
● Ensure compliance with labor laws and company
policies
● Conduct initial induction and orientation for new
joiners
● Prepare HR letters, contracts, and official
documentation
● Monitor and update leave, attendance, and appraisal
systems
● Support performance review processes and maintain
appraisal recordsTasks & Activities
● Post job openings, screen resumes, and schedule
interviews
● Coordinate with hiring managers for interview
feedback and candidate selection
● Draft offer letters, appointment letters, and maintain
employee files
● Collect and verify documents during onboarding
● Maintain attendance records and assist in monthly
payroll inputs
● Track and update leave balances, late marks, and
holidays
● Respond to employee queries related to HR policies,
leaves, and benefits
● Organize employee engagement initiatives and
celebration events
● Support performance appraisal coordination and
feedback collection
● Maintain HR databases, trackers, and generate
HR-related reports
Measurement Metrics
Time to hire, offer acceptance rate, onboarding accuracy,
payroll and attendance precision, query resolution time,
documentation compliance, employee engagement
participation, and timely completion of appraisals.
Growth Plan from HR
Executive to HR Manager
After successfully handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll
coordination, and employee engagement for 12–18 months,
the HR Executive can progress to an HR Manager role. This
transition involves managing a team, creating HR policies,
leading performance appraisals, driving culture and
compliance, and contributing to strategic workforce planning.
Growth is supported by strong communication, people
management skills, and a deep understanding of HR
operations and legal frameworks.
Competencies Required
for Above Role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
knowledge of recruitment processes, HR operations,
and labor laws. Proficiency in HRMS tools,
documentation, and payroll coordination. Must have
attention to detail, confidentiality handling, time
management, and the ability to manage employee
