Job Summary:
Responsible for managing and executing all human resource functions at the factory/plant level, ensuring compliance with statutory laws, managing the workforce, improving employee engagement, and supporting overall HR operations for smooth factory functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage blue-collar and staff recruitment as per manpower planning
Coordinate with contractors for labor supply
Conduct joining formalities and induction programs
2. Time Office & Attendance
Maintain attendance, biometric records, shift rosters
Manage leave records and overtime (OT) calculations
Ensure discipline in working hours and shift changes
3. Payroll & Compliance
Support salary processing and wage calculation
Ensure timely ESIC, PF, PT, Gratuity,
4. Employee Relations
Resolve worker grievances and support a healthy work environment
Conduct employee engagement activities
Support disciplinary procedures and grievance redressal
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs at the factory level
Organize safety, technical, and behavioral training sessions
6. Statutory & Legal Compliance
Maintain all factory records as per Factories Act
Coordinate for labor inspections and maintain compliance documentation
Manage licenses like Factory License, Shops & Establishment, etc.
7. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
Conduct and document safety drills
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. / B.Com. / BMS) with any diploma or Certification courses of HR
3 to 4 years of experience in a factory/plant HR
Knowledge of HRMS/biometric systems
