Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and people-oriented HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, and staff discipline. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR functioning and maintaining a professional and positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Handle end-to-end recruitment for restaurant and corporate positions.
Source candidates through job portals, references, colleges, social media, and other channels.
Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews with department heads.
Prepare and issue offer/appointment letters.
Coordinate employee joining and onboarding formalities.
Maintain updated manpower and vacancy records.
2. Attendance & Leave Management
Maintain daily employee attendance and shift records.
Monitor late coming, absenteeism, weekly offs, and leave.
Maintain proper leave records and approvals.
Prepare monthly attendance data for payroll processing.
Follow up with employees regarding unauthorized or uninformed absence.
3. Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
Ensure proper documentation at the time of joining and exit.
Maintain records of appointment letters, ID proofs, bank details, salary details, warnings, confirmations, and resignations.
Keep employee information confidential and secure.
4. Payroll Coordination
Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for monthly payroll.
Verify attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, overtime, and other payroll inputs.
Ensure employee bank details and salary records are accurate.
Address employee queries related to salary and attendance.
5. Employee Relations & Discipline
Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally.
Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies.
Issue warning letters, show-cause notices, and other disciplinary communications when required.
Investigate employee complaints and coordinate with management for appropriate action.
Promote a professional and respectful work environment.
6. Performance Management
Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisals.
Follow up on probation and confirmation of employees.
Maintain performance-related records.
Identify training and development requirements in coordination with department heads.
7. Exit & Full & Final Process
Handle resignation and employee exit formalities.
Conduct exit interviews where required.
Coordinate clearance and handover processes.
Coordinate Full & Final settlement with the Accounts team.
Maintain proper records of resigned and terminated employees.
8. Compliance & HR Policies
Ensure HR processes are aligned with applicable labour laws and company policies.
Maintain required statutory and compliance records.
Ensure employees are aware of company rules, policies, attendance procedures, and disciplinary standards.
Support management during audits and inspections.
9. Hospitality HR Operations
Manage manpower requirements for FOH, BOH, Kitchen, Service, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Cashier, Store, Security, and other restaurant departments.
Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower planning and staffing requirements.
Monitor staff grooming, attendance, discipline, and workplace conduct.
Support management in maintaining smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
1–5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or retail.
Good knowledge of recruitment and employee management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic HR documentation.
Ability to handle confidential employee information.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
Good knowledge of attendance and payroll processes.
