About the Role
Odisha Talks is looking for a proactive and organized HR & Admin Executive to manage day-to-day human resource activities and office administration. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced media environment, and have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
Manage the complete employee onboarding and joining process.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and follow-ups.
Assist in preparing appointment letters, offer letters, HR policies, and other employee-related documents.
Handle employee queries and support day-to-day HR requirements.
Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave records, and other monthly HR data.
Support performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
Administration
Manage day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth office operations.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external agencies.
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and administrative records.
Handle travel, accommodation, meetings, and other administrative arrangements when required.
Monitor office maintenance, housekeeping, security, and general facilities.
Maintain proper documentation and records of administrative expenses.
Provide administrative support to management and different teams.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good interpersonal and relationship-management abilities.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace, particularly Excel and Word.
Basic understanding of HR processes and employment documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
1–3 years of experience in HR and administration is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Should be well-organized, responsible, and approachable.
Prior experience in a media, digital media, advertising, or fast-paced organization will be an advantage.
Should be comfortable coordinating with employees across different departments.
Knowledge of HRMS, payroll processes, and basic labour-law compliance will be an added advantage.
