Job Purpose

To identify, engage, and mobilise candidates from the community who are actively seeking job placement training, ensuring inclusivity and strong candidate pipelines for the organization’s employability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective door-to-door mobilisation campaigns, targeting youth seeking employment and job placement training.

• Build rapport with families, youth, and community influencers to inform and encourage participation in skill development programs.

• Assess candidate aspirations, eligibility, and alignment with training offerings.

• Organize and facilitate awareness sessions, group meetings, and information drives within the community.

• Counsel and motivate potential candidates about the benefits and outcomes of job placement training.

• Maintain accurate mobilisation registers, candidate lists, and daily activity reports.

• Liaise with local organizations, leaders, and stakeholders to expand outreach and support community engagement.

• Support pre-enrolment documentation and verification processes.

• Integrate feedback from candidates and community for continuous improvement in mobilisation strategies.

• Ensure transparent selection, prioritizing those genuinely interested in job-driven skills.

• Promote inclusivity across gender, social, and economic backgrounds.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline; background in social work, community development, or youth engagement preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in field mobilization, outreach, or community engagement roles (NGOs, skilling programs, social work).

• Familiarity with Chembur and Mumbai’s local communities; ability to travel locally and conduct field work.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills in Hindi, English, and local language.

• Strong recordkeeping and reporting abilities; tech-savvy with mobile/CRM for field updates.

• Motivated to work for social impact and youth empowerment; energetic, adaptable, and proactive.

• Immediate joiners preferred.
