Job Description:
Position: Executive / Senior Executive – Compliance HR
Employment Type: Off Role Position
Educational Qualification & Experience :
MBA / Post Graduate in Labour Law with 3–4 years of relevant experience
OR
Graduate with 5–6 years of relevant experience in statutory and labour law compliance
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Hands on experience with various Government compliance portals
• Familiarity with compliance tracking systems/software will be an advantage
Major Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. Statutory Compliance Management
Maintain accurate and complete statutory records.
Plan, coordinate, and ensure 100% compliance under applicable labour laws across all assets/factories PAN India through various statutory portals.
2. Labour Law Compliance Implementation
Review, monitor, and implement compliances under applicable labour laws including:
Shops and Establishment Acts
Factories Act
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA)
Building and Other Construction Workers (BoCW) Act
3. Contractor & License Coordination
Coordinate with Site In Charges/SPV Head to:
Maintain an up to date list of contractors, vendors, and deployed manpower
Ensure timely application, renewal, and amendment of Contract Labour registrations and licenses
Ensure renewal of Factory Licenses and timely submission of statutory returns
4. Statutory Registers & Displays
Coordinate with Operations Heads / Site In Charges to ensure:
Proper maintenance of all statutory registers
Display of mandatory notices and statutory information at sites
5. Inspections & Labour Department Liaison
o Support site teams during statutory inspections
o Assist in preparing and submitting replies to notices
6. Compliance Tracker & Documentation
o Maintain and regularly update compliance checklists and trackers covering:
Returns
Registers
Licenses
Displays
Inspections and notices
7. Due Diligence & Employee Transition
o Provide documentation and compliance support during due diligence for new assets/projects
o Provide required support in case of mergers, acquisitions, or takeovers
8. Vendor & Contractor Records Management
o Maintain complete records of engagement of:
Compliance consultants
Manpower contractors
Other compliance related service providers
9. Minimum Wages Monitoring
o Track notifications related to minimum wages (Central and State)
o Ensure timely communication to Superior.
10. Management Reporting
o Update all statutory compliances in the compliance software/system
o Support preparation of compliance reports & Presentation for Management review
11. Compliance Vendor Coordination
o Coordinate with external compliance vendors
o Returns submissions and ensure records are updated accurately and on time.
