Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the daily functions of our HR department. The ideal candidate will assist in a wide range of administrative and HR-related tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and general HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.

  • Prepare new employee files and assist with onboarding and orientation programs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital and physical formats.

  • Support payroll and benefits administration by collecting relevant employee data.

  • Help organize training and development sessions.

  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.

  • Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.

  • Help prepare reports and presentations related to HR metrics and initiatives.

  • Ensure HR systems and databases are up to date and compliant with relevant legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or in progress).

  • Previous HR internship or 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.

  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.

  • Basic knowledge of payroll processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
