Job Summary:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The role involves managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries and redirect them to the appropriate department.
Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes as per institutional policy.
Provide accurate information regarding admissions, courses, schedules, and institutional policies.
Handle basic admission queries and coordinate with the admissions department.
Maintain student records, files, and front desk documentation.
Receive and distribute mail, courier packages, and official documents.
Manage appointment scheduling for Principal/Management when required.
Maintain front office cleanliness and ensure proper display of institutional notices.
Assist in organizing school events, meetings, and parent-teacher interactions.
Operate office equipment such as telephone systems, printers, photocopiers, and computers.
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report preparation.
Handle emergency situations calmly and follow institutional safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of experience in front desk/reception role (experience in educational institution preferred).
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good communication skills in English and local language.
