Reporting To: Hotel Manager
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the hotel front desk, welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, attending phone calls, and ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience. The role is critical in representing the hotel’s brand and maintaining operational coordination between guests and hotel staff.
Greet guests professionally and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Handle room availability inquiries and guest requests
Manage guest registration and documentation
Issue room keys and provide basic hotel information
Address guest queries, requests, and complaints courteously
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for guest needs
Ensure a positive and comfortable guest experience
Answer incoming calls and redirect them appropriately
Maintain communication with hotel departments for daily operations
Handle walk-in and phone inquiries professionally
Update guest details in CRM / hotel management software
Maintain daily check-in, check-out, and occupancy records
Assist in basic billing and invoice coordination (if required)
Maintain front desk cleanliness and organisation
Prepare basic daily reports for management
Support hotel management with assigned administrative tasks
Good communication skills (Hindi & English preferred)
Basic computer knowledge (CRM / billing software)
Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude
Ability to handle guests calmly and efficiently
Willingness to work assigned shifts
Minimum qualification: Graduate preferred
Experience in hotel front office or customer service preferred
Freshers may be considered
