The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Nandadeep Eye Hospital. The role involves handling patient inquiries, managing appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and hospital departments with a polite and professional approach.
Greet patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Handle patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Maintain patient registration records and update information in the hospital system.
Guide patients regarding consultation rooms, billing counters, diagnostic services, and other hospital facilities.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
Handle cash collection for consultation fees and issue receipts as per hospital guidelines (if applicable).
Maintain the reception area in a neat and welcoming manner.
Assist in managing patient feedback and escalate concerns to the concerned authority.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report preparation.
