Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a well-spoken, organized, and professional Receptionist / Front Desk Executive to serve as the first point of contact at our college. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk efficiently, handle inquiries, and ensure a welcoming environment for students, parents, faculty, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.

  • Provide accurate information regarding college programs, admissions, and facilities.

  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as needed.

  • Assist the administration team with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.

  • Coordinate with various departments for smooth communication and visitor handling.

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of data and records.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline.

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk executive, or in a similar role (preferably in an educational institution).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
