Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Registration & Handling
Register OPD patients and generate UHID in the system
Ensure accurate entry of patient details
Manage token system and patient flow
2. Appointment Management
Schedule and manage doctor appointments
Assist walk-in patients and guide them appropriately
3. Front Desk Operations
Maintain a professional and organized reception area
Attend and manage incoming calls and inquiries
4. Patient Guidance
Provide information about hospital services, departments, and doctor timings
Direct patients to relevant departments (Lab, Radiology, Billing, etc.)
5. Billing Coordination
Assist in basic OPD billing (if applicable)
Coordinate with the billing department for smooth processing
6. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain patient files and front desk records
Prepare and update daily OPD reports
7. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments
Inform concerned staff in case of emergencies or urgent cases
8. Customer Service
Maintain a polite, professional, and helpful attitude
Handle patient queries and complaints, and escalate when required
Required Skills
Good communication skills (English & Hindi)
Basic computer knowledge (Hospital software / MS Office)
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask
