About the Role
Shani's Restaurant is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with expertise in operations, financial management, team leadership, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the smooth operations of multiple restaurant outlets.
Monitor and improve the company's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance by controlling operational costs and maximizing profitability.
Ensure effective inventory management, including stock planning, procurement coordination, wastage control, and regular audits.
Lead, supervise, and mentor outlet managers and restaurant staff to ensure operational excellence.
Develop and implement SOPs to maintain consistency across all outlets.
Ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, HR, and finance teams for seamless operations.
Monitor outlet performance through sales reports, operational KPIs, and customer feedback.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, health, safety, and other statutory regulations.
Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, with experience managing multiple outlets preferred.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, P&L management, inventory control, and team leadership.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in MS Excel and restaurant POS/inventory management systems is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Prior experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Casual Dining, Cloud Kitchens, or Multi-Outlet Restaurant Chains.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage teams, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
Customer-focused with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
