Job Summary:
A Hostess is the first point of contact for guests in a restaurant. She is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth seating process while creating a positive first impression.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.
Manage table reservations and waiting lists.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Coordinate with captains and service staff for table availability.
Handle guest inquiries and provide basic information about menu and services.
Maintain the reception area clean and organized.
Answer phone calls and manage booking requests.
Ensure smooth guest flow during busy hours.
Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when required.
Maintain proper communication with kitchen and floor staff.
