Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management: Welcomes patients and visitors, provides directions, and maintains a clean, organized, and calm reception area.
Patient Communication: Answers multi-line phone systems, directs calls, takes messages, and addresses patient inquiries professionally.
Scheduling & Registration: Schedules, confirms, and manages patient appointments, and registers new patients.
Administrative Duties: Scans, files, faxes, and manages electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation.
Financial Tasks: Verifies insurance information, assists with patient forms, collects co-payments, and processes billing.
Coordination: Liaises between patients and medical staff, informing providers of patient arrivals and delays.
Inventory Control: Monitors office supplies and places orders as necessary.
