Key Responsibilities:
Medical Care: Provide first aid, CPR, and manage medical emergencies.
Health Monitoring: Conduct health assessments and maintain medical records.
Health Promotion: Implement wellness programs and educate employees on health practices.
Safety Collaboration: Work with the Health and Safety team to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and ability to handle emergencies.
JD – FMO/Medical Officer
Provide consultation for seasonal conditions like cough and cold, other URI,
gastrointestinal illnesses, headache, and other outpatient medical problems, and
dispenses over the counter (OTC) and other symptomatic medications placed at the
medical room and provide prescription medications as per the need and availability
in the medical room.
Annual health check-ups reports’ review as per the request of Employees and
providing professional medical advice on the same.
Routine health examination of Employees and professional medical advice for age-
appropriate and medical condition-appropriate health check-ups
First point of contact for any minor accidental injury that happens at the Service
Recipient’s premises and provide first aid
First point of contact for any major accidental injury and referral of the same to
nearby hospital facility or specialist in the event the same shall be required
Consultation for chronic conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, thyroid problems,
COPD etc., and further provide lifestyle advice, by reviewing the condition and when
required, guiding the concerned Employee to the specialist’s consultations for
further care
Guidance for further treatment of any medical condition by advising appropriate
specialist's consultation
Guide nurses deployed at the Medical Room on treating minor ailments with OTT
and first aid
Maintaining encountered Employees health records
Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Employees’ health data
Governing nurses for treatments, record keeping, dispensing medicines, health
education, raising a timely indent/request for the medicines, maintaining a record of
all the encounters with the details of symptoms and medicines dispensed,
maintaining patient privacy guidelines, maintain registers and securely storing the
patient records.
Calling for an ambulance as per the requirement in case of an emergency, delivering
basic first aid and accompanying the employee until the care team takes over.
Ensuring Bio medical waste protocols are getting followed along with necessary
checklists of medical room.
Conducting periodical health & safety sessions for company employees to create
awareness on seasonal diseases.
Periodical monitoring of workplace health & hygiene and reporting to management
in case of risk factors or necessary changes required.
Guiding management in case of additional requirements for medical room.
