Staff Nurse

Job Description

1. Assist medical officer : Assist medical officers in providing patient care, conducting medical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.

2. Medication Administration : Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and report any adverse reactions.

3. Vital Sign Monitoring : Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.

4. Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.

5. Collaboration with Healthcare Team : Work closely with medical officer, other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

6. Medical Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, diagnoses, treatments, and test results.

7. Inventory Management : Manage and maintain inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and medications, including:

- Ordering and restocking supplies

- Monitoring expiration dates and disposing of expired items

- Maintaining accurate inventory records

- Reporting inventory discrepancies or concerns to management
