Full Time
Supervise and guide nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
Monitor the health and well-being of all residents.
Ensure timely administration of medicines as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs, blood sugar, wounds, nutrition, hydration, and other care needs.
Coordinate doctor visits, hospital referrals, investigations, and follow-ups.
Prepare and maintain accurate nursing and resident health records.
Ensure proper handover between nursing shifts.
Handle medical emergencies and arrange immediate medical attention when required.
Monitor infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety practices.
Prepare nursing duty rosters and manage staff attendance.
Train and mentor nurses and caregivers in elderly care procedures.
Communicate residents’ health updates to management and, when appropriate, their family members.
Ensure proper documentation of incidents, falls, medication errors, and other clinical events.
Check availability and proper maintenance of medicines, medical supplies, and emergency equipment.
Promote respectful, dignified, and compassionate care for elderly residents.
Ensure compliance with the old-age home's nursing policies and procedures
