Job Description (JD) – Nursing Assistant (Home Care Services) Position Details  Designation: Nursing Assistant  Qualification: ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing  Department: Home Healthcare Services  Location: Coimbatore / Chennai (Based on Candidate Preference and Business Requirement)  Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract About the Role  KG H2H (Hospital to Home) is looking for dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistants to provide professional patient care services at patients' homes. The selected candidates will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care, comfort, and safety in a home healthcare environment.  The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, maintaining hygiene, administering basic nursing care, and supporting patient recovery under clinical protocols. Qualification & Salary Structure Qualification Designation Monthly Salary ANM Nursing Assistant ₹16,000 GNM Nursing Assistant ₹18,000 B.Sc Nursing Nursing Assistant ₹23,000 Contract Employment  Per Day Rate: ₹900  Shift Duration: 12 Hours  Shift Type: Day Shift / Night Shift  Stay Duty: OT applicable 1 day stay duty will be paid as 1.5 days pay including 6 hrs sleep. Key Responsibilities  Patient Care  Provide quality nursing assistance to patients at home.  Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL).  Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.  Assist bedridden patients with positioning and mobility.  Support feeding, hydration, toileting, and personal hygiene.  Ensure patient comfort and emotional well-being.  Observe and report changes in patient condition to the reporting nurse/supervisor.  Maintain infection control and safety standards.  Assist with medication administration as per instructions.  Support post-operative, elderly, palliative, chronic care, and rehabilitation patients.  Documentation  Maintain daily patient care records.  Record vital signs and treatment observations accurately.  Submit reports to supervisors as required.  Professional Conduct  Follow patient care protocols and organizational guidelines.  Maintain confidentiality of patient information.  Adhere to grooming and professional appearance standards.  Build positive relationships with patients and family members.  Comprehensive Training Program  All selected candidates will undergo a structured training and assessment program before independent deployment.  Phase 1 – Theoretical Training (5 Days)  Topics include:  Basic Nursing Procedures  Infection Prevention & Control  Patient Safety  Vital Signs Monitoring  Emergency Response  Communication Skills  Documentation Standards  Home Care Protocols  Phase 2 – Practical Training (5 Days)  Hands-on training in:  Patient Handling Techniques  Bed Making  Personal Hygiene Care  Feeding Assistance  Mobility Assistance  Equipment Handling  Phase 3 – KG Main Hospital Shadowing (5 Days)  Clinical observation and patient care exposure.  Learning hospital-based nursing practices.  Phase 4 – Multispeciality Hospital Shadowing (5 Days)  Exposure to various patient care specialties.  Understanding advanced patient care procedures.  Phase 5 – Home Care Shadowing with Senior Nurse (5 Days)  Live patient home-care exposure.  Practical learning under experienced nursing professionals.  Final Assessment Candidates will undergo:  Theory Evaluation  Practical Assessment  Patient Care Competency Assessment  Upon successful completion, candidates will be independently deployed for patient care assignments.
