Job Description

Dental Assistant Post🦷 Clinical Duties (Working Directly with the Dentist) * Preparing patients for treatment, including seating them and reviewing their medical history. * Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment. * Handing instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures (four-handed dentistry). * Suctioning and keeping the patient's mouth dry using a high-volume evacuator (HVE) or saliva ejector. * Preparing and mixing dental materials, such as cements, impressions, and amalgam. * Exposing and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) as instructed by the dentist. * Providing post-operative instructions to patients following various procedures (e.g., extractions, fillings).📋 Administrative Duties (Front Office) * Managing patient records and filing. . * Answering and managing telephone calls. * Help the doctor in maintaining inventory of dental supplies and materials. * To do daily patient Entries on computer🏥 Laboratory & Maintenance Duties * Cleaning and setting up treatment rooms. * Monitoring and maintaining infection control procedures. * Caring for and maintaining dental equipment (e.g., handpieces, sterilizers). * Labeling and preparing laboratory cases for transport.
