Key Responsibilities
Prepare the dental operatory before each patient appointment.
Assist the dentist during all dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to infection control protocols.
Prepare and organize dental materials, instruments, and equipment.
Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
Welcome and guide patients, making them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Take and record patient medical history and assist with documentation.
Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
Assist with taking dental photographs, impressions, and digital scans (training provided if required).
Manage inventory of dental supplies and inform the clinic about stock requirements.
Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic at all times.
Coordinate with the front desk for patient flow and appointment management.
Support the clinical team with any additional duties as required.
