Dental Assistant

The role holder will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

1.       Chairside Assistance

a.        Assist the dentist during procedures like scaling, fillings, RCT, extraction, implants, etc.

b.        Prepare instruments and materials required for treatment

c.        Ensure proper sterilization and availability of tools

2.       Patient Management

a.        Greet and guide patients in the clinic

b.        Prepare patients for treatment procedures

c.        Provide basic post-treatment instructions

d.        Maintain a calm and professional attitude with patients

3.       Clinic Hygiene & Sterilization

a.        Maintain cleanliness of dental chairs, instruments, and clinic area

b.        Follow infection control protocols and sterilization standards

c.        Dispose of biomedical waste as per guidelines

4.       Inventory & Equipment Handling

a.        Maintain stock of dental materials and instruments

b.        Inform management about low stock or requirements

c.        Ensure proper functioning of dental equipment

5.       Administrative Support

a.        Manage patient appointments and records

Education

▪     Minimum 10th Pass

Experience

▪     Prior Experience of Dental Assistant

Technical / Functional Skills

▪     Basic knowledge of dental instruments and procedures

▪     Good communication skills (Hindi required; basic English preferred)

▪     Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment

▪     Team player with a positive attitude

▪     Basic computer knowledge
