We are looking for a technically sound and experienced Email Deliverability Specialist to join our onsite team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our email infrastructure, ensuring reliable delivery of emails, maintaining sender reputation, and reducing spam-related issues. Your work will directly impact our communication efficiency and campaign success.
Set up, configure, and manage email servers and platforms (e.g., SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailgun, etc.)
Implement domain authentication protocols including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
Monitor and improve email deliverability metrics such as bounce rates, complaint rates, inbox placement, and open rates
Maintain a strong domain and IP reputation by adhering to best practices and compliance standards
Troubleshoot and resolve email issues related to spam filters, blacklisting, throttling, and sending limits
Analyze deliverability performance and generate reports with actionable insights
Work closely with internal IT, marketing, or communication teams to optimize email sending strategies
Ensure compliance with email-related regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL)
In-depth knowledge of SMTP, DNS records, MX lookups, and email protocol configuration
Experience with bulk email sending platforms and domain/IP warmup procedures
Strong understanding of email spam filtering technologies and deliverability best practices
Hands-on experience setting up and verifying SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for domains
Familiarity with email monitoring and testing tools like Mail Tester, MXToolbox, Google Postmaster, or Litmus
Ability to interpret logs, headers, and bounce codes to troubleshoot issues effectively
Solid communication skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Prior experience in a similar email infrastructure or deliverability role
Background in IT, systems administration, digital communication, or email marketing
Certifications or training in email technologies or security (optional but valued)
