Job Description – Two-Wheeler Mechanic

Position: Two-Wheeler Mechanic
Location: Marathahalli, Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–5 Years (Experienced with relevant ITI certification can also apply)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Two-Wheeler Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and service motorcycles and scooters. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering quality service and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in two-wheelers.
Perform periodic maintenance and general servicing.
Repair or replace defective engine, transmission, brake, clutch, suspension, and electrical components.
Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs.
Carry out engine overhauling and minor/major repairs as required.
Ensure all repairs are completed within the committed turnaround time.
Test ride vehicles after service to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
Record service details and maintain job cards.
Coordinate with the service advisor regarding repair status and spare parts requirements.
Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines during repairs.
Support customers by explaining repair work when required.

Required Skills

Knowledge of two-wheeler engine systems and vehicle diagnostics.
Understanding of electrical wiring and battery systems.
Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Basic communication and teamwork skills.
Time management and attention to detail.

Qualification

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferred.
SSLC/PUC with relevant mechanical experience may also apply.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in servicing and repairing motorcycles and scooters.
Freshers with ITI in Automobile/Mechanical are encouraged to apply.
