Marketing Manager – Analytical Laboratory

Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 3–5 years in marketing/business development, preferably in an analytical testing laboratory, food, chemical, environmental or related industry.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing Manager to lead marketing and business development activities for our analytical laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, promoting laboratory testing services, and achieving revenue and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies for laboratory testing services.

• Identify and acquire new clients across food, chemical, environmental, manufacturing and other relevant industries.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Promote analytical testing, microbiology, chemical, environmental and other laboratory services.

• Generate leads through direct marketing, client visits, networking, exhibitions, conferences, digital channels and industry contacts.

• Understand customer testing requirements and coordinate with technical/laboratory teams to provide appropriate solutions.

• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and presentations for clients.

• Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into business.

• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales/revenue targets.

• Handle customer feedback and support resolution of commercial/service-related issues.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science or a related field.

• MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Development will be an advantage.

• 3–10 years of experience in B2B marketing, sales or business development, preferably in an analytical laboratory or testing industry.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
