Job Title & Reporting

• Designation: Doctor Referral Marketing Executive / Manager (can also be titled: Healthcare Outreach Executive, Referral Relationship Manager, or Business Development – Doctor Network).​

• Department: Marketing / Business Development / Hospital Operations.​

• Reports to: Marketing Head / Business Development Manager / GM – Operations.​

Role Summary

• Drive patient inflow by building and managing a strong network of referring doctors (GPs, specialists, clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals) in the assigned region.​

• Act as the primary liaison between the hospital and referring physicians, ensuring smooth referrals, timely feedback, and high satisfaction.​

Key Responsibilities

1. Doctor Network Development

• Identify, map, and onboard new referring doctors (GPs, specialists, clinics, and hospitals) in the catchment area.​

• Conduct regular field visits (daily/weekly) to build rapport, understand their needs, and promote the hospital’s services, specialties, and USPs.​

• Organize and conduct doctor meets, CMEs, lunch & learns, and awareness sessions to strengthen relationships and brand recall.​

2. Referral Marketing & Promotion

• Promote key services (OPD, IPD, diagnostics, surgeries, packages, etc.) to referring doctors through presentations, collaterals, and digital tools.​

• Ensure that referring doctors are aware of new departments, technologies, offers, and campaigns launched by the hospital.​

• Address doctor queries promptly and provide clinical/operational support to encourage more referrals.​

3. Referral Tracking & Analysis

• Maintain a CRM/database of referring doctors with details like specialty, location, referral volume, and feedback.​

• Track and analyze referral data (number of referrals, conversion rate, revenue contribution, top referrers) on a weekly/monthly basis.​

• Prepare reports on referral trends, performance vs. targets, and competitor activity for management review.​

4. Coordination & Feedback

• Work closely with OPD, IPD, billing, and service teams to ensure smooth patient experience for referred cases (prompt appointments, reports, follow‑up).​

• Collect feedback from referring doctors on service quality, turnaround time, and areas of improvement; escalate issues to concerned departments.​

• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, digital promotions, and events that support doctor engagement.​

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Any graduate degree (B.Sc, BBA, BA, B.Com, etc.)

• It is a Full Time Marketing job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
