E-commerce Marketing Executive

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across e-commerce marketplaces and online platforms.

• Create, update, and optimize product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, keywords, specifications, and product attributes.

• Ensure product listings are accurate, complete, active, and compliant with marketplace guidelines.

• Monitor daily sales, orders, traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and product-level performance.

• Analyze sales trends and identify reasons for increases or declines in online revenue.

• Manage product pricing, discounts, offers, coupons, and promotional activities.

• Monitor competitor pricing and marketplace trends to maintain competitive positioning.

• Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock availability.

• Monitor stock levels and proactively highlight products at risk of going out of stock.

• Manage marketplace advertising campaigns and monitor advertising performance.

• Track key advertising metrics such as impressions, clicks, spend, sales, ROAS, and ACOS.

• Identify underperforming products and campaigns and recommend improvement strategies.

• Monitor orders, cancellations, returns, refunds, and customer complaints.

• Analyze return and cancellation reasons and coordinate with relevant teams to reduce recurring issues.

• Monitor marketplace account health, policy notifications, listing suppressions, and compliance issues.

• Coordinate with marketplace support teams to resolve operational and account-related problems.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly e-commerce performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce or marketplace management.

• Hands-on experience managing one or more e-commerce marketplaces.

• Good understanding of marketplace operations and online sales processes.

• Experience in product listing and catalog management.

• Knowledge of pricing, promotions, inventory, advertising, and order management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Ability to analyze sales reports and marketplace data.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work with targets and performance-based KPIs
