Role Overview
A promoter represents a company or brand, interacting with potential customers to explain products, demonstrate features, and encourage purchases.
Key Responsibilities
Promote products/services to customers in person (malls, stores, events, exhibitions, etc.)
Demonstrate product features and explain benefits clearly
Engage customers and answer questions
Distribute samples, flyers, or brochures
Encourage sales and meet daily/weekly targets
Set up promotional displays or booths
Collect customer feedback and report to management
Maintain a positive brand image
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Sales and persuasion ability
Confidence and a friendly personality
Basic product knowledge (training usually provided)
Ability to stand for long hours and work in public environments
Qualifications
Minimum Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any discipline)
Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not always required
Work Environment
Shopping malls, retail stores, supermarkets
Events, trade shows, or roadshows
Flexible shifts, often including weekends
Salary
₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month (entry-level)
Incentives/commissions may be added based on sales
