Role Overview

Padmwati Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. is looking for skilled professionals to join the CNC team:

•

VMC Programmer: Responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) using FANUC controls.

•

VMC Operator: Responsible for machine setup, operation, and inspection of machined components.

These roles are essential for precision manufacturing and require teamwork, technical expertise, and attention to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

VMC Programmer

•

Prepare and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for VMC machines.

•

Convert engineering drawings into machining instructions.

•

Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining sequences.

•

Simulate programs and make adjustments to improve efficiency and precision.

•

Collaborate with operators to troubleshoot machining issues.

•

Maintain records of programs and revisions.

VMC Operator

•

Operate Vertical Machining Centers with FANUC controls.

•

Set up workpieces, load tools, and adjust tool offsets.

•

Monitor machine operations and make minor program edits if required.

•

Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.

•

Ensure finished components meet dimensional and quality standards.

•

Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and safety compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

VMC Programmer:

•

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / CNC / Machining.

•

Hands-on experience with VMC programming (FANUC controls).

•

Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, tool offsets, work offsets (G54–G59).

•

Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

•

Basic knowledge of CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360) preferred.

VMC Operator:

•

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / CNC / Fitter or equivalent.

•

Experience operating VMC machines with FANUC control.

•

Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.

•

Knowledge of machining processes: milling, drilling, boring, tapping.

•

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
