Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Operator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in operating Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines. The candidate will be responsible for operating machines efficiently, ensuring production quality, and following engineering drawings and required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate VMC machines efficiently and safely as per production requirements.

• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.

• Perform machine setting, tool changing, and offset adjustments.

• Monitor machining processes and ensure accurate component production.

• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality inspection.

• Identify and report machine or production issues.

• Maintain required quality standards and production targets.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work area.

• Carry out basic machine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a VMC Operator.

• Hands-on experience with VMC/CNC machining operations.

• Good knowledge of machine setting, tool selection, and offset correction.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of basic inspection and measuring instruments.

• Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, or a related technical field is preferred.

Compensation

CTC: ₹40,000 per month
