Transport designer

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and driven Transport/Automotive Designer to join our innovative team. As a key member of the design team, the Automotive Designer will play a crucial role in bringing new and exciting vehicle designs to life. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, a strong understanding of automotive design principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Transport/Automotive Designer Responsibilities & Duties  Lead the conceptualization and creation of automotive designs, utilizing software such as Alias and SolidWorks.  Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and industry advancements to inform design decisions.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.  Present designs to internal stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements.  Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and materials into designs.  Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers. Transport/Automotive Designer Qualifications & Skills  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport/Automotive Design, or a related field  Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD tools  Strong portfolio showcasing automotive design projects  Experience with 3D modeling software like Rhino, Alias, or Blender  Knowledge of vehicle architecture and engineering principles  Excellent communication and teamwork skills  Ability to meet tight deadlines and work within budget constraints  Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials  Previous experience in the automotive industry  Familiarity with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) tools  Bachelor's degree in Transport Design, Automotive Design, or related field.  Minimum of 1 year of experience in Transport/automotive design.  Expert proficiency in design software, including Alias and SolidWorks.  Strong understanding of automotive design principles and the design process.  Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.  Excellent communication and presentation skills.  A passion for design and a desire to stay current with industry advancements.
