Tool and Die Maker

We are looking for a Toolmakers and Machine operators to join our team Thriam. The role involves plastic tooling and mold making.

This position offers an salary 2.4 to 6LPA

•                     Manage and supervise all day-to-day activities in the tool room

•                     Tool completion planning and execution on time.

•                     Manage part trials and assist design team in mold strategies to optimize cycle time

•                     Supervise tool room staff, including scheduling, training, and managing performance.

•                     Work closely with production departments to understand their tool requirements and ensure timely availability.

•                     Implement and monitor systems for tracking tool usage and maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.

•                     Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of new tools or the repair of existing ones.

•                     Maintain a detailed inventory of tools and equipment and ensure their proper storage and maintenance.

•                     Assist in budget preparation for the tool room operations and monitor expenditures.

•                     Conduct regular audits of tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

•                     Resolve any issues related to tool performance or employee conflicts within the tool room.

•                     Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in tool room technologies and management practices.

•                     Develop and enforce safety protocols for the handling and storage of tools.

•                     Develop and train the tool room staff, ensuring a highly skilled team.

•                     Prepare reports summarizing tool room activities, challenges, and resource needs.

•                     Collaborate with other department heads to streamline operations and support the overall production workflow.
